The cost of parts alone including the DMF is more than my car is worth! I drive like Miss Daisy in terms of gear changes so fingers crossed. The 235 clutch (think that is the model) has good reviews and with most of miles being motorway and being a relatively low revving car plus rev matching, I hope for a few miles yet. BTW what mpg do you get? At a constant 70mph on a run I get well into the 60s. I did a slow 300 miles run several times and got well into the 70s. Still can't work out why it gets more than manufacturers figures. Have brim tested many times and the mpg figure is spot on.

Since 112k I got 325 clutch..
That is encouraging. I have the 325 replaced at 70K by previous owner under warranty. Hence it might have a bit more life in it yet. Does yours slip at all? Mine does only in 5th on the motorway under heavyish acceleration when hot. I am wondering if it is the auto adjuster or starting to fail.

I had few problems but it just started doing well by itself after while. I am surprised that I do not have to change front wheels bearings..))

Hi Hub. Well done for keeping with it . Is it still going? I am looking at a couple of 2.2's this weekend, neither anywhere near your mileage, but you give me hope haha. It seems like the drivers seat is tatty on every one I see, the drop links rattle , but the cars are still going..

I have a 2008 2.2 Diesel Civic. I bought it at 146K miles and it has just passed 170K miles after 3.5 years of ownership. The clutch slipped on mine in 3rd / 4th regularly on hard acceleration then it would clear up for a while then slip again, this happened for well over 2 years owning the car. It hasn't slipped for months now. There is some evidence not conclusive that the clutch was changed around 86K miles as there's a screenshot printout of clutch/DMF parts with the pricing. So I have to assume that my car had a clutch replacement and that it sometimes slips until it auto adjusts itself. When it was slipping I have tried the smacking the crap out of the clutch pedal to free the adjuster but it never worked. I've also had the clutch fluid / gearbox fluid changed a couple years ago as well and the clutch fluid still looks OK, before I changed it, it was a dark dirty green colour.

You can change drop links and quality one are from whiteline. Now my car is on 353k. I think some parts from suspension can be next in the queue..

Honda Civic 2007 2.2 cdti EX, officially hit the 200,000 mile club last Week.
Plans for this year , Air Con top up as its runs for 15mins or so then just stays warm.
Oil Service. it had a new Dual mass flywheel last december at a cost or ÂŁ1k , so one less thing to worry about.. Otherwise very good conditon it will easily last another 5 years with regular service.
