hi guys!!!!me and some other friends from the greek subforum are searching for a fast road camshaft for our R18A engine!!!!If we install a fastroad camshaft and a piggyback greddy e-manage ultimate we will be having about 180hp.!!!!!!!!!The bad thing is that we discovered that any company that produces camshafts hasent still made one for our engine!!!!after alot of emails and conversesions with some companies only Skunk2 has sent an email that maybe they are going to produce one for us!!!!but the need to be bother from a lot of peaple so they can have a motive to start!!!!

Many of us in the customer service/sales department have actually been pushing for those cams for a while now. We feel that there is a market for those camshafts as well. The problem is that it is hard to justify devoting time and resources to developing those camshafts, when we have not yet finished our K series manifold and other big projects in the making.
I would expect that it would take something between 500 and 1000 pre orders to convince the owner/head of R&D to even consider developing camshafts for that motor. I would not say it is an impossibility, but it will take a large outcry from the import community to spur him to look into it. My recommendation would be to pick an online forum specific to the 8th generation civic (like 8thcivic.com) and see how much enthusiasm you can generate.
I think you have an uphill battle on your hands with this one, and I wish you the best of luck.

As you can see if alot of as just sending an email to them asking them if they have or can make a camshaft for the r18a engine maybe they will produce one!!!!!!
I am just asking for a single email nothing else so we can have the chance to increase dramaticly our horse power!!!!!!
lets have the horsepower that we want and not saying to ourselfs that we really should buy the type r!!!!!
