You'll find it'll make more power but the torque curve is flatter giving the sensation of feeling slower.
I was the same when I had mine remapped, felt slower but it was definitely faster. You don't get that "strong" vtec kick anymore up top.

Yeah there is no vtec crossover at all now it's so smooth it's unreal! But yeah it still revs up nicely. Planning on getting it on a dyno in the new year - preferably a reliable one

Thankyou! £350 at keltec performance in Leeds. The lads there are 10* seriously, been back twice for it tweaking without question! He had a right fight with it after me fitting the manifold and only charged £20 for it all sorting out and rehanging.

Need to do another drive by video with the manifold, should hear it now it's mental!!! The only Silencer is at the back and it's the size of a 2 litre pop bottle haha

Well the Mrs isn't interested in my car s***e as she puts it, however she is impressed when I do a smidgen of detailing.

Overdue some time with my little bro so will do a drive by video when I next see him, will give you an idea of how ear bleedy it is. Best way to describe it is BWAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWRRRRRRRPPPPPP

Found this picture whilst nosying through my photos on the PC and deleting some old ones. The YD08 is my old 1.8 type S - this photo is from when I first got it like three years ago. And on the right - parked next to me a lovely black type R with the reg ML07 RDU.

My current type R that I bought in april this year is ML07 RDO... I thought that was bloody weird haha!

Took the entire dash apart today to fit an aux module into the back of the stereo. What an absolute mare!! Got the thing apart absolutely no issues, but putting it back was making me use some choice words...

None of the trim seemed to want to line up when I took it off! However got it back together and the module works amazingly.... few pictures of the chaos for you, was also racing against sunset haha.

Man so bad! I got a module someone posted in Facebook, from a well known auction site. I wasn't expecting much but the sound quality over aux is absolutely brilliant, very impressed.
