Yes I think so to, I'm a big fan of the perspex grille, it complete the design of the car.

Spend the morning cleaning the motor, installing the K&N 57i as it's suppose to bee installed (sound is not so deep as before :-( ) give all plastic, trim restore and put new clips to fixated the trim

Then I had to polish the left head light and the perspex in the middle, as I had a new right head lamp, after my accident, and the difference was visible, now you cant see the difference so much.

What's really interesting is the differences in sound from my K&N 57i airfilter, between the to ways I have had it installed.

The first way the sound was deeper, byt somehow more relaxed, ;-) not sure if I can find a better word to describe it. The air filter was installed inside the old bottom airfilter, and I attached it to the 90 degrees connection.

The new way of installing the air filter is the way K&N recommend, and I have used the 2 rubber hoses that is used to connect to the engine.

Now the sound is more sporty, but also pitched in a way, I'm not sure what I like the most, but the new sound is growing on me

Got the carbon for the gear surroundings fitted, not completely satisfied, as the carbon was delivered without dobbelt sided tape, even though it says so on pimpmycivic homepage.

So I had to find a solution, but the backsides edges of the carbon is raised and I'm having some trouble finding some tape that makes the fit look great.

I have received a new front grill, so I'm finally going away from my beloved perspex front :surprise:

hi, regarding the gear knob mod:

how did you manged to get the leather boot under the plastic cover?

when I try to put back the cover, it doesn't seem to click back all the way, because of the leather.

did you trim some of the plastic off?

Nope, the leather is just under the cover, no problem.

The first leather gaiter I got was some what thicker where the leather was stitched, but this one is perfect :smile3:

Ok so I got around to fit the front grille and the rear center light panel, I had lying around.

Had to do the fog light mood, I had a red LED light I got earlier, to put into the left socket of the reverse light

As soon the car is washed, the panel is polished and the weather is good again I go take some pictures
