Them wheels look really nice I like them a lot.

Definitely go for 8" wide alloys if you’re going for a 17" size.
Mine are 18" wheels 8.5" wide running 235/40/18 Michelin PS5 all round. Feels like it's on rails compared to the original setup.
Fitted with Eibach Pro lowering springs I think they’re 25mm and they are plenty.
Any lower and it would be impractical for driving especially over our speed bumps.
Cheers, you can also gain performance from choosing the lighter wheels, I saved 3.3kg per wheel, got more grip and a better ride. You will benefit with the 235s cos of the low down torque from your engine, but I think 225s will be great for the 1.8 petrol and a bit lighter.
I also like the interior leds -

What entertainment system is that? Do you have any links? I have a double din fitted to mine but it's a bit slow. Need an update.

Looks great.

Did you do that carbon yourself?

You have done a really good job trimming it to fit.

did you take the door off that centre compartment to do it?
I did the door when I fitted the stereo (during the first lock down when we had time to get stuff done), as you have to remove the armrest then that part of the dash to remove the stereo. There's 3 screws at the back that hold it in place.

How did you do that USB port there? At the moment I've got an adapter tucked into the cubby behind the gearstick and an ugly cable plugged in and run under my trim! That looks so good!

You got any more pics?
I did the door plastic (bit round the window switch’s) at the weekend-not the best job but doesn’t look bad

That's just a phone charger, but one of the usb ports for the head unit is plugged into the obd2 port to monitor the engine (via Torque pro) and one mounted just under the dash so I can connect my phone to the head unit via android auto.

First bit of the dash I wrapped was the shiny black plastic around the clock and speedo

I've kept doing other bits while doing other jobs, the head unit is a Xtrons tib110, 10.1" screen, android 10, mainly use it for Google maps or Sygic for the satnav, music/radio

That panel you have done up top looks good-is it easy to remove?

i ordered the carbon my ride wrap that’s pre cut for round the dash but ain’t fit it yet! Might do that too panel too tho after seeing yours

This should help
Hardest bit is the plastic in front of the clock, it can be a bugger to get under it to pop it up.

Crazy project! Love it. Looking forward to see the result. Was in Denmark last year and was surprised of how few mk8 civics there were. More common her in Norway I think.
Thanks!
I'm going to test fit the body parts today 🤞

That's what i like about it. It's somehow become a rare car in Denmark. And i've never seen a mugen styled mk8 in Denmark. I can't even remember seeing a Type R.

So my car is gonna be somewhat special in the area 😃

Update after test fitment:

The front spilitter fitment was terrible. Big gaps and way too weak/thin taps. I'm trying to get the money back for that one and will go for OEM type R front splitter or GP splitter.

The mugen wing and rear bumper is pretty good fitment! I'm doing some minor modification because i got a towing hook on the car. But i think it will work out perfectly.
