knackered civic

I would like to offer a professional, comprehensive and nationwide repair service for an I-shift system/clutch actuator in your Civic if it becomes faulty.

If you encoutered one of the following:
- cog wheel symbol popped on a dash display during driving, but disappeared after engine restart (see pic)
- unable to select gear from neutral ("N" flashing)
- gearbox stuck in gear/reverse
- flashing "A" symbol and unable to start the engine
- you have a diagnosed error P0810

then you have an issue with your I-shift system, most likely clutch actuator and/or gear actuators.
I have repaired many Civics that suffered dreaded I-shift problems, never had any complaints or problems appeared again.

I offer a repair guaranteed for one year using genuine Honda parts where applicable.
I will flush and bleed the system and after repair - perform static and dynamic learning of the Engine Control Module using Honda diagnostic system.
I will also run a full check for any other errors stored in the car's computer.

Repair takes approx. 5-6 hours and all I need is some room around you car and an access to a power outlet.
Repair is done for ÂŁ320 all inc. + fuel expenses (ÂŁ0.7 per mile travelled)

Due to work commitments I can only do the repairs during weekends.

If you are interested, please drop me a private message including car details and a brief description of the problem.
Thanks

hi @automobilklub,
I am experiencing the dreaded Ishift issues in my Honda Civic 1.8. Can't pm you as I don't have enough posts.
Would you be able to pm me so I can give further details.

Thanks.

@automobilklub
Hi,
Can't pm yet. But the I in a cog appeared on the display and the the car won't engage in gear. It also won't start occasionally.
The car is sat at a garage currently in Leicester who are trying to sort it out.
I wondered if you may be able to help and when you might be able to have a look.

Thanks.

Hi. I certainly can. I'm quite busy this and next weekend though. What about Sunday, October the 2nd? If you decide to go for it, please give me some more details (car reg, mileage and repair/clutch replacement history if any). Thanks, Daniel

Thanks for the link Kremmen. That guy probably got it done elsewhere as never got back to me. Hopefully that's the reason...

Hi automobilklub,

Would you be able to find a time to sort out the problem with the clutch. Having gone through the thread I believe the problem is with either the clutch or/and with the gear actuator(s).

While driving at 70 mph (M25) the message SYSTEM CHECK appeared on the dashboard and the gear indication changed from 'A' to '6'. The car was responding to breaking (to slow down) and acceleration without changing from gear position '6'. At first traffic light at the slip road where the car came to a full stop the gear went to 'N' and since that moment I was not able to change the gear from neutral position.

The car is parked on the driveway in front of my house in South-East London.

Thank you
Mikhail
