Please do keep us up to date on how your doing!! Is your facelifted or not?

I have succeeded, at least to a level I am content with. I have a Honda Civic 2015 Navi SR 1.6 iDTEC

I managed to get in an Atoto S8 Android system on Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/ATOTO-S8G2...IN-Tethering-Bluetooth-Standard-3G-32G/dp/B08CGJK8WJ?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1

Along with the Atoto rear view camera - https://www.amazon.co.uk/ATOTO-AC-H..._r=d8df5c0c-879c-4bbb-95ee-e288e19d23eb&pd_rd_wg=62Jth&pd_rd_i=B08RDCR8DY&psc=1

which all worked with the Connects2 fitting kit (CTKH06) - CTKHD06 Honda Civic 2012-2015 Double Din Car CD Stereo Fascia Installation Fitting Kit

Contrary to popular speculation that the Connects2 kit does not work with Navi Civics, it turns out it actually does.

In terms of what I have retained, Steering Wheel Controls for volume up/down and station change - left/right work fine, but have lost Bluetooth Hands Free functionality.

I have also not been able to retain the factory USB connection in the central console and instead I am using the USB connection via the new Atoto headunit and USB cables running through the glove compartment.

You will lose OEM reverse camera, hence why get a new camera, which is significantly better in terms of picture quality vs the factory one.

You will also need to run a microphone and DAB antenna to gain hands free and digital radio functionality.

Bottom line is - do this if you really cannot stand your Honda Connect, or it does not work, and you want the upgrade regardless of Japanese or Chinese after market systems. I would recommend Atoto via Amazon just as a hedge for protection if you are seeking a Chinese unit, because of consumer protection, in case the system fails or is defective. Do not get it from anywhere else, such as AliExpress or even eBay because you just won't get the same level of protection. The Android units are INCREDIBLE in terms of features and work absolutely fine for a fraction of the price vs your Pioneers and JVC's, and much much less vs Alpines. Overall, I would say that value for money is top, but you will lose some functionality on vehicle integration, and while you can attempt to retain it, its best to just upgrade and modify where you can. The final thing I would say is don't do this if you have to give the car back to Honda, because it is a fairly modest revamp of their system and you may get penalized for such modifications if you don't actually own the car outright.

Here is a review of the Chinese system I purchased which so far, works like a treat -

Good luck!

Here are some pics for those asking. Could have been a neater install on the rear camera and can't say I'm a fan of the USB in glove compartment, but it will have to do.

If anyone does know how to retain the USB connectors in the center console, please share!

Thanks

Oh wow @isiddiqi thank you for confirming it’s a face lifted version that’s really helpful and gives us all hope, I can do without the clock and detailed MPG (I only used to have the imid MPG on my older Mk9 civic)

Looking at how the Bluetooth buttons work in the facelifted, they may need hard wiring chnages, look at the PAC paperwork on how they suggest doing this.

I take it that’s a new fascia?

for USB look at this thread

For rear camera

Hi, if you don't mind me asking, how much did this install cost? I'm guessing it was a quite labour intensive job plus the costs of the extra mic, wiring, fascia plate and camera would have made it expensive.
